SRM Criterium Sprint April 2005

Here we see the SRM data log of the bunch sprint for fourth place at the first crit of the season.  There was a bit of a concertina at the last corner which caused everyone to re-adjust and this can be seen with the big power dip at 4.5 seconds.  Then there was the fist jockeying for position at 6-8 seconds, a change of gear at 9,  then the big push at 10 seconds.  You can see I died a little before the line but managed to hold fifth behind a super-strong Bill Buist.  Maximum speed was 29.1 mph, max cadence was 113 (before the gear change) and max power was 734 watts.  Heart rate was an almost constant 204 throughout.
